Fall Plantings

Now is a good time to plant your second crops for fall. Many vegetables thrive in cooler weather. Plants such as beets, cabbage, brussels sprouts, spinach, broccoli, radishes, salad greens, turnips and cauliflower will provide delightful, fresh produce for you well into the fall. Herbs including cilantro, fennel, parsley and dill do well also. Come in and browse our large seed pack selection. Don't forget to consider planting perennials this time of year. Now is a good time to choose deer resistant plants, especially since our perennials are on sale. We can provide a list of deer resistent plants to help in your selections. We also have a full line of deer, rabbit and woodchuck repellents to protect existing plants you may have. Fall also is a great time to plant shrubs. Take advantage of our 20% to 50% nursey sale.

Our Services We have Certified Nursery Professionals available to assist you in Landscape Design & Installation.  Delivery is available on Trees, Shrubs, Bulk Materials, bagged goods & Firewood.  We have professionals on staff to diagnose plant & lawn problems.  Just bring in a sample in a sealed plastic bag. Our greenhouse has many houseplants, flowering plants & pots to choose from.  If you buy a plant & pot, our staff will gladly repot your choice for free.  We have a wide variety of plants available for centerpieces or favors to compliment any event.  Our Gift Department has many seasonal gifts for that special someone.  Gift Cards are available in any denomination. If you are planning a fundraiser, we can custom design one to fit your organization needs. Propane tanks are filled year round. Landscape Design:  This is provided free of charge.  Simply bring in pictures and measurments and our designers will provide inspiring ideas on how to best use your landscape areas.  Landscape Installation:  We are very proud of our high sucess rate for survivability of our plantings.  We back this with our FULL 1 year warranty.  Delivery:  Our delivery rates are very modest based on area zones.  Please call for a quote.
